United States Constitution from the Printing Office of Edes & Gill
United States Constitution from the Printing Office of Edes & Gill
Product Information
This broadside of the U.S. Constitution is a unique version of the famous document, presented as it was printed in Boston before ratification. It also includes a letter from President George Washington urging ratification (on the second side, at the bottom.)
The broadside is printed on a historic press at the Printing Office of Edes & Gill in Boston. As was the case with the original broadsides, there might be variability in ink coverage, and you should not expect the same crisp, consistent ink coverage that we are used to with material printed on modern presses. Please note the document comes without a frame.
